Frequently Asked Questions

What modes of payment are accepted?

How long does delivery take?

For orders to international destinations, standard shipping can typically take up to 3 weeks. There are rare occasions where it can take even longer however. Local shipping to Philippine customers may take anywhere from 4 days to 2 weeks, depending on your location.

Expedited shipping service is currently not offered. Please note: delivery times may be impacted if the courier requires a customer pickup, or re-delivery to your address if initial delivery is not successful. Other factors or delays may also occur through your country's customs and duties office, before delivery can continue.

Is my country covered by international shipping?

While I am able to ship to countries all around the world, not every country is covered. The list of countries I can ship to are:

United Arab Emirates, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Czechia, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Hong Kong SAR, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Singapore, United States, China, India, Indonesia, Macao SAR, Qatar, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Faroe Islands, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Bahrain, Cambodia, Maldives, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Croatia, Greenland, Turkey, Vatican City

Why hasn't my package arrived?

Some countries may hold your parcel at their customs office. You may be asked to pay certain duties (if your country requires them) before delivery or pickup can happen.

Another reason is that the address provided in your order is unreadable, or incomplete. Your complete and accurate order information is your responsibility. What you encode (or don't encode) is exactly what will be placed with your order. If your parcel doesn't reach you due to an error with your name or address, or if the postal service cannot identify you or the delivery address which you encoded upon checkout, it will likely be held or sent back.

Why are the shipping fees for artwork/s expensive?

The artwork/s you purchase are literally one of a kind. They are valuable and also fragile, which means that secure and special packing is required. The artwork/s are generously bubble wrapped and packed securely within its shipping box to avoid unnecessary movement, which can lead to impact damage. With all this in mind, the package will increase a bit in size and volume. This is something we cannot avoid nor compromise on. Standard shipping is offered to keep prices as low as possible for the customer, but with the trade-off of longer transit times.

Are there any additional charges associated with purchasing artwork from my website?

No. What you pay at check-out is final. For local Philippine purchases, a 12% VAT is added on top of the value of the artwork. However, please keep in mind that your country may have import taxes or duties for your package, and is not associated with my website.

Why does the physical artwork look different in person from what I saw on the website?

All of the artwork sold on my website are photographed using flash strobes and soft boxes to allow for even lighting across the artwork's surfaces. This type of illumination is very natural and used commonly for ecommerce or publishing. However, the lighting in your home, office or gallery will surely be different. Thus the chance that the artwork/s will look slightly different in color from what is being shown on the website.

Secondly, mobile devices, laptop or desktop monitors display images at different contrast, brightness and saturation levels. This alone is the most common reason why images (on any app or website) look different on various devices.

Can I return the artwork I purchased?

If for whatever reason you do not like the artwork you purchased, you can return it to me within 5 business days upon receipt of the package. The artwork must be in its original undamaged condition and placed inside its original packaging. To see the complete requirements for a successful return, please visit the refund policy page.

Yes. you have the option to cancel your order within 12 hours of purchase by sending an email to markusjentes.art@gmail.com. A full refund will be made out to you.
